Samurai Game Associates, LLC is the organization that oversees all Samurai Game® Facilitator training and certification worldwide. SGA was co-founded by Lance Giroux and Grayson James, and is managed by Grayson. Lance and Grayson represent the Leonard Family Trust, which owns all rights to The Samurai Game® worldwide.

Lance Giroux
Lance is a graduate of West Point. He has specialized in leadership, communication, teambuilding, human potential and personal/professional effectiveness since 1975. He was introduced to The Samurai Game® and George Leonard in 1991, and since then has provided the simulation at seminars, academic conferences, universities, schools and corporate retreats in the U.S. Mexico, Asia, Europe, SE Asia, Australia and Middle East. Organizations that have used Lance with the Game include: UN Secretariat, AIESEC International, Verizon, Nokia, Lindora, Societe Generale Banking, the Organizational Behavior Teachers Society, Roche, Westminster College, University of Nevada, University of San Francisco, Oklahoma State University, Texas A&M University and others. In 2000, George Leonard engaged Lance as his representative to oversee all facilitator training and administration for the simulation worldwide. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in Aikido. He owns Aikido of Konocti dojo www.AikidoKonocti.com where he is chief instructor. He frequently integrates the art’s principles into his offerings. Lance is also Managing Director of Allied Ronin™ Leadership Training & Consulting, providing leadership training and development for organizations, teams and individuals. Grayson James
Grayson builds organizational collaboration, alignment and leadership performance with executives and their teams across diverse industries throughout the US and internationally. He draws on over 25 years of organizational leadership, alternative dispute resolution and management consulting experience, informed by movement, martial arts and personal transformation disciplines. In the 1980’s he served as CEO of a nationally acclaimed private school system cited as a model school for the future in Esquire Magazine. Grayson has founded and directed several non-profits dedicated to quality of life, homeless advocacy, and sustainable food systems. His experience with The Samurai Game® began in the mid-1980’s as George Leonard’s understudy. Grayson holds a 6th degree black belt and is a senior Aikido instructor at Two Rock Aikido in Petaluma, California. He is also Founder and Principal at Grayson James Consultants, LLC, and designer of the highly acclaimed “Full Contact Collaboration” workshops that enable executive and cross-functional teams to transform their collaborative skills, build accountability, and solve complex organizational problems together.
